The 2024 launch of Agentforce — Salesforce’s autonomous AI agent platform — represents the company’s largest strategic bet since Einstein, and its largest risk: the $50B market cap multiple it carries assumes AI adoption at a scale that has not yet been demonstrated in revenue.
